Why a course or session is unavailable
If a course is missing from a selection list or a date cannot be used for enrollment, check the course, branch, and student rather than repeatedly changing the enrollment date.
Check the course
- Confirm the course belongs to the branch you are currently using.
- Check the course status. The existing-student Add Student workflow accepts Enrollment Open, Enrollment Closed, or In Progress. Planned, Completed, and Cancelled courses are not available through that route.
- Check the course's available spaces. A course at capacity cannot accept another active enrollment.
- Open the course's session list and confirm sessions have been generated and their dates and times are correct.
- Ask a course administrator to review a schedule affected by a holiday or schedule change. Do not assume adding a holiday automatically reschedules every existing course.
Check the enrollment date and student
The date-based enrollment check requires at least half of the course sessions to remain, rounded up. Dates after the last session, dates when all sessions have passed, and courses without usable sessions can be rejected. A student's existing enrollment or an overlapping pending/active course schedule can also block adding that student.
New-student Registration and existing-student Add Student do not use identical course-list and eligibility checks. If the course appears in one screen but not another, ask the course administrator which workflow applies rather than assuming the course is ready for enrollment.
Missing permissions or branch access can also hide the course or action. Ask an administrator to check your access if the course should be available but is not shown.
